SSTL at World Space Business Week 2025
Surrey Satellite Technology Ltd (SSTL) was delighted to once again attend World Space Business Week in Paris this week, organised by NovaSpace and held at the Hôtel Le Collectionneur.

On Wednesday morning, SSTL’s Managing Director Andrew Cawthorne took part in the Scaling SmallSat Production panel, sharing his insights on how our industry is meeting the growing demand for capability and capacity in orbit.

Throughout the week, SSTL’s booth was a busy hub of activity, with our Chairman Sir Martin Sweeting and Alex Da Silva (pictured) welcoming colleagues, partners, and friends from across the space sector. It was a fantastic opportunity to reconnect with long-standing industry contacts and to forge new conversations about the future of small satellite innovation.

One highlight was meeting with our partners from Space Norway (see picture below), where Andrew Cawthorne and Marte Skogvoll Kalveland, Space Norway’s Director for Earth Observation, took the opportunity to affirm our teaming agreement live on the WSBW stage. This important partnership underscores our shared commitment to advancing space-based solutions for maritime security, environmental monitoring, and beyond.
