Martin Sweeting interviewed on Radio 4's A Life Scientific News
SSTL's founder and Executive Chairman, Sir Martin Sweeting, was interviewed by Jim Al-Khalili on Radio 4's A Life Scientific today.  It's a wide-ranging chat covering Sir Martin's early influences (the Apollo missions, science fiction, and an interest in amateur radio), before focussing on his pioneering first satellite mission UoSAT-1 which, as Sir Martin reveals, "definitely involved the kitchen table".  Sir Martin also reveals how he blagged a free launch from NASA who were, in Martin's words, intrigued by "the crazy Limeys who know nothing about spacecraft".
