Launch and Insurance

The negotiation for launch is an intensive process and the launch itself is a significant cost to the overall programme. SSTL commence negotiations early with the aim of procuring a shared and more cost effective launch opportunity.

Click to enlargeWe have excellent relationships with all major launch providers and will generally aim to conclude negotiations 12 months before launch date. We will manage all aspects of the launch contract negotiation process and will ensure all pre-launch requirements are met as well as the transportation of the satellite to the launch site.
