Earth-i Constellation - The Mission

On 21st November 2017, Earth-i announced that it has ordered the first 5 satellites from SSTL for its new Earth Observation Constellation.  The constellation will be first in the world to provide full-colour video and will provide high-frame rate images with resolutions better than one metre for any locations on Earth.  The 5 satellites ordered are are based on the CARBONITE-1 and CARBONITE-2 missions but with enhancements developed for Earth-i, and are planned for launch in 2019.
